Simpson County Busted Mugshots is a private reference site, not a government office. It cannot confirm custody, arrange a release, post bond, or retrieve official booking documents. Direct a live custody, records, court, or emergency question to the responsible public office. Call 911 for an emergency or immediate safety concern.

Official Simpson County Record Paths

For county booking records, present custody questions, or a request for a releasable booking photograph, start with the Simpson County Sheriff’s Office. Sheriff Paul Mullins’s published office address is 1496 Simpson Hwy. 149, Mendenhall, MS 39114. Administration is (601) 847-2155, dispatch is (601) 847-2921, fax is (601) 847-2156, and the published email is pmullins@co.simpson.ms.us. No separately named records unit, booking-request form, fee schedule, or current official roster was located. Ask the sheriff to identify the custodian, confirm current hours and accepted delivery method with the custodian, and provide an itemized estimate before any work that may incur a charge.

  • For a county booking record, identify the person, approximate date, arresting agency, requested record, and desired format. The home page explains the focused request route under the Mississippi Public Records Act.
  • For misdemeanor, traffic, warrant, or Justice Court record questions, contact Justice Court Clerk Joyce Hicks at 1498 Simpson Hwy 149, Mendenhall, MS 39114, (601) 847-5848, or jhicks@co.simpson.ms.us.
  • For circuit-level dockets, indictments, pleas, orders, and dispositions, contact Circuit Clerk Witt Fortenberry at 100 Court Street, Mendenhall, MS 39114, (601) 847-2474, or wfortenberry@co.simpson.ms.us.
  • For state custody rather than a local booking, use the official Mississippi Department of Corrections inmate search. It is a separate state-custody locator and does not answer a current Simpson County booking question.
  • For federal or immigration custody, use the official Bureau of Prisons locator or ICE Online Detainee Locator as applicable. Neither is a Simpson County booking feed.
